Another year at my university gig wrapped up this week, so night last I went to a friend’s house for a little relaxin’ and celebrating.
Our new go-to hangout menu has ended up being rolled pita sandwiches from our fave local mediterranean joint, something chocolatey, and her partner’s signature pomegranate martinis.
These pom martini’s are soooooooo delicious!
We’ve taken the original recipe and tweaked it a bit each time, which as resulted in the most amazing, perfect pom martini we’ve ever had.
I asked in my sweetest, most fluttery-eyelash way if I could share this fantastic recipe with my blog followers. He happily said “yes”! Woo-hoo!
So, here you have it, my friends:
Kevin’s Absurdly Perfect Pom-tini Recipe:
- 2 oz. POM
- 1 oz. vodka or gin*
- .05 oz. Cointreau
- splash of lemon juice**
Just put ingredients in a cocktail shaker with a few ice cubes, shake it up, pour through strainer into glass.
Enjoy perfection. 😀
*Vodka and gin both work great, but gin is our favorite. Get the good stuff.
**To take this over the top, we substituted the lemon juice with a splash of Limoncello – O.M.G. – do it!!! Again, get the good stuff. Some limoncello can taste like hairspray.
